On November 13, a group of Ghazvin’s International University students staged a rally protesting acid attacks and chanting “Acid attack is a crime; students, support (the victims)”.
A statement read out at the end of this rally says, “A month after these incidents, the elements of this crime not have been identified. How is it that acid attackers are roaming freely but social-civil activists and journalists are detained?”
