Works extensively with Iranian women outside the country and maintains a permanent contact with women inside Iran. The Women’s Committee is actively involved with many women's rights organizations and NGO's and the Iranian diaspora. The committee is a major source of much of the information received from inside Iran with regards to women. Attending UN Human Rights Commission meetings and other international or regional conferences on women’s issues, and engaging in a relentless battle against the Iranian regime's misogyny are part of the activities of members and associates of the committee.

Nurses are forced to work overtime, but their overtime fees have not been paid for between six to ten months.

Mohammad Sharifi Moghaddam, deputy director of Iran's Nursing Regime Organization, pointed out that there is a difference in the payment of doctors and nurses' wages, and that receiving their past due wages is among the main demands of nurses.

Moghaddam pointed to the nurses' vast protests in 2014 and said they are expressing their protests in a different way, now.

Experts say the implementation of the health insurance plan has run into problems and there is a lot of pressure on the health system. (The state-run ILNA news agency – October 31, 2016)
