Following the vicious attack by security forces against Dervish protesters on September 21, 2014, many of the women were severely injured and are in dire conditions.
Some of the injured women include: Sahar Ghaed Rahmat (widespread bruises from blows by electric shockers and intense diarrhea from pepper gas), Arezu Malak Mohammadi (broken right arm and displaced toe), Maryam Farsiabi (broken arm, displaced jaw and vertebras), Nazanin Zafari, Farzaneh Sadegheth, Samira Behbahani and Mehrangiz Assadi (broken arm), Zohreh Khani and Ms. Bagherpoor (broken head), Azam Moghadam Bigi (broken nose), Parvaneh Hosseinpour (displaced vertebras), Almira Yazdani, Maryam Abedinizadeh, Nayereh Homayuni (difficulty breathing) and Saleheh Farid Nia, her 9-month old infant.
