A number of members of the Iranian regime’s Parliament have presented a plan aimed at increasing repression against women and girls to an unprecedented level. The plan has specified how to take measures against improper veiling, the so-called inappropriate clothing of women and houses that have satellite receivers. According to this repressive plan, those who violate these regulations will be fined from 2 to 10 million rials (around $70 to $350).
Another section of this plan has imposed rules on women working in offices, saying if they don’t abide by hijab regulations which are acceptable for the mullahs, they will first receive a written warning and the second violation will be with a deduction of their salaries by 33% from one month to one year.
