Reyhaneh Jabbari, hanged in the early morning of October 26, 2014 in Gohardasht Prison, was buried in Tehran’s renowned ‘Beheshte Zahra’ cemetery. Her family and a number of her friends and relatives were present at the funeral.
The mullahs’ regime had dispatched over 150 armed forces to Reyhaneh’s funeral, who dispersed many of the participants and did not allow ceremony nor prayers. The regime’s rushing agents brought Reyhaneh’s body and forced her family to bury her immediately. No one was allowed to delivery any speeches nor express any remarks in memory of Reyhaneh.
