Mohammad Reza Naghdi, head of the mullahs’ Basij Organization welcomed the recent bill on ‘Promoting Virtue’ passed by the Iranian regime’s parliament, which appoints the Basij forces to intervene in people’s private lives in the name of guidance.
“There was much delay in the passing of this law. We considered training our forces many years ago and right now we will show more interest in this subject,” he said.
Admitting the recent acid attacks in Iran were organized, he said; “The fact that a criminal has not been found, strengthens the suspicion that these attacks were preplanned. If an individual had carried out these acts on his own and as blind measures, he would have been identified by the intelligence apparatus.”
