Following years of follow-ups by a grieving family and human rights activists, the court hearings of the murderers of Behnoud Ramezani – killed in the Iranian people’s 2009 uprisings – are to be held on November 16, 2014 and will be open to the public.
Behnoud’s mother called on all the Iranian people, political, civil and human rights activists to take part in these hearings…
Behnoud’s mother said: “This is a sham court, and does not include the trial of the main perpetrators of crimes against humanity, Khamenei and Larijani. However, holding such court hearings in itself is an admission to the murder of freedom-loving youths in the 2009 uprisings and the mullahs’ obvious step down as a result of widespread protests by the Iranian people, families of martyrs and the international community. All these activities have forced the mullahs’ regime to give in to such sham trials.”
