A number of civil activists and family members of protesters killed during the 2009 uprising went to see Ms. Masoumeh Ne’mati, the mother of political prisoner, Atena Daemi on 30 July.
Atena’s mother wrote in her Facebook page:
“We should always remember that in the darkest nights of our country’s history, we must stick together and keep the fire alive.
We should never lose hope and we must always remember that we are all together, as one, and when we are so, we will be invincible.
This is the main insight for all of us, until history makes its path and the time of [dictators] comes to an end. Finally, winter will go and the spring of freedom will most definitely come to be.”
