Security authorities are increasing their pressures to crackdown and arrest women and youth in Iran. The commander of West Tehran Security Forces said police will take serious action on mixed parties and weddings.
“In cities west of Tehran a number of people have been taking advantage of orchards and holding weddings and mixed parties. Police will take action against any violations of the law and sharia,” said Mohsen Khancherli.
He referred to the latest police plan to monitor the most private aspects of people’s lives saying, “Under this plan, in cooperation with units of Facility Police and all provincial apparatuses, province directors will monitor all orchards, along with all parties and weddings held in these areas, and violators will have to answer to the law.”
