Deputy for addiction prevention and rehabilitation in the Welfare Organization said: In 2014, there were 562009 successful contacts with the department’s emergency line, 80 per cent of whom were women. At the same time, there were 791537 in-person referrals, 63 per cent of whom were women.
Rezazadeh further added: The largest number of people who made telephone or in-person contacts were between 20 to 30 years of age and the next layer were between 30 and 40 years of age. Most of these people were married.
