Hospitalization of civil rights activist Atena Da’emi who is imprisoned in Evin and suspected of Muscular Sclerosis (MS) was postponed for another week because acquiring permission from the Prosecutor took longer than expected on Monday.
Ms. Da’emi’s treatment is only possible on Mondays, so she has to wait another week to be hospitalized.
Atena Da’emi, 27, was arrested and imprisoned in October 2014 and held in solitary confinement for two months. She is sentenced to 14 years imprisonment on the charge of propaganda against the ruling system, forming gatherings against national security and swearing at the supreme leader and the founder of the Islamic republic.
