Naseem Bagheri, a professor of the Baha’is internet university, was arrested and transferred to Evin Prison by agents of the Iranian regime’s Ministry of Intelligence on April 28, 2014 to serve a four year term.
However, to this day she has been deprived of any leave and Ali Khodabakhsh, deputy public prosecutor in Tehran has refused all requests made by her family for a medical leave.
Bagheri was sentenced to four years prison by a “revolution” court on charges of propaganda against the state and measures against national security through her membership in an illegal institution.
