Safi Golpaygani, a senior cleric of the Iranian regime, called for more measures of “protecting virtue and prohibiting vice.”
“Be careful. The issue of hijab that is related to our morals must be looked upon, so that flaws will be eliminated,” he said.
“The work of the police is important and sacred. You should know the value of your job. Police has the duty to preserve security, and if there is no police, religion itself will be lost,” Golpaygani continued.
The senior Iranian mullahs emphasized, “The police should use force if necessary in protecting virtue and prohibiting vice. People with improper veiling should not be permitted into the city of Qom.”
