In reaction to women’s registration in the elections for the Assembly of Experts, mullah Mohammad Yazdi, head of the Iranian regime’s Assembly of Experts, said, “Unfortunately,
we see some lady with some unsuitable appearance and improperly veiled comes and registers for the Assembly of Experts. Then it is said that there is no problem with registration and everyone is allowed to register.”
Although the women who register for the elections will be definitely vetted out of the actual race, but this misogynous regime cannot tolerate even women’s enrollment for the assembly that is in charge of choosing the country’s leadership. The Assembly of Experts is made up of 88 members who are all men and is in charge of designating the mullahs’ leader or leadership council.
