Iran: 1,500 female graduates unemployed in one province

Head of the Agriculture Organization in Kohgilouyeh-and-Boyer-Ahmad Province said 1,500 female graduates of agriculture are unemployed in this province.

“In addition to the graduates, there are a large number of girls, as well as rural and tribal women, and women without any caretakers that have large potentials for production in agriculture, especially with 10 cooperative companies,” said Jafar Gohargani.

“In the past 10 years not much attention has been paid to employment and recruitment of women’s capabilities in production,” he added.
