Nearly 7 years past the murder of Neda Agha-Soltan during the Iranian people’s uprising in 2009, her tomb continues to be visited by Iranian youths every week.
Neda was a 24-year-old music student shot dead by the mullahs’ agents during the post-elections uprisings in 2009. Her picture of dying with open eyes shocked the world and made her a symbol of the defiant Iranian women and youths and their innocence.
