Sahar Beheshti, who had been arrested Friday afternoon along with her husband Mostafa Islami, was released Saturday afternoon, on bail bond.

Robat Karim’s local prosecutor told the state-run Fars news agency that all participants in the birthday ceremony for Sattar Beheshti are “opponents of the state.”

Sattar Beheshti’s birthday ceremony was held on Friday, August 26, 2016, as security forces controlled all of the guests entering and leaving the place. Ultimately, Sahar Beheshti and her husband were beaten up and arrested.

The prosecutor of Robat Karim announced that Ms. Beheshti has been informed of her charges which are “disrupting the order, insulting and smearing state officials, disobedience, and physical confrontation with security forces.”
