There is no gynecologist office in the northeastern Iranian town of Taibad.
This was acknowledged by Mohammad Mousavi, director of the health and medical network.
He added, “Physicians and gynecologists in (Taibad) hospital’s clinic used to visit 10 patients every day; this has increased to between 30 and 40 patients per day due to high demand.”
Taibad has a population of 117,000 people.
