According to the estimates of the Welfare Organization, about 3 to 5 per cent of unemployment in every district is from disabled people while the number of unemployed disabled women is twice as much as that of disabled men.
This was declared by Hossein Nahvinejad, deputy to the Welfare Organization.
Nahvinejad also admitted that the organization’s payment of nursing fees to the patients has not been satisfactory because the maximum fee the organization pays is 200,000 toumans, whereas in light of the present circumstances the actual amount needed is at least 2 million toumans.
