Three political prisoners incarcerated in Evin Prison published a letter in support of the demands of the civil rights activist Atena Daemi.
Esmail Abdi, Arash Sadeghi and Yousef Emadi said in their letter:
“One of the rights violated in our country is the illegal raids by security forces on the residences of families to make arrests without a warrant. They take away the accused before the eyes of their terrorized family.
“Today, children’s rights activist Atena Daemi is on hunger strike to have charges lifted from her two sisters who only defended the safety of their home. She has taken her life in her hands to condemn the security forces illegal breaking into their home without showing any warrant, ID cards, and terrorizing and beating up her family members.”
