Women staged a sit-in in front of the Governor’s Office in Khorramabad, Lorestan Province on May 30, 2017. They were protesting the looting of their deposits in a credit institute by the name of Arman.
The women participating in the protest sat down in the middle of Bank intersection of Khorramabad, capital of Lorestan Province in western Iran, and blocked the road to demonstrate their wrath and protest.
Security forces intervened to confront the women’s protest.
