In the wake of the attacks on June 7 in Tehran where the mullahs’ parliament and the mausoleum of Khomeini, the regime’s founder, were ostensibly attacked by Daesh, the Mothers of Laleh Park issued a statement on June 11, 2017, and challenged the regime’s officials over the truth of their claims about the incidents and the fact that they had been carried out by Daesh (ISIS).
In their statement, they wrote, “We want to know how is it that judiciary and security officials can arrest and interrogate our best young children every day under the pretext of protection of security, but they are not able to curb and contain such an operation that takes place in bright day light and in center of the city?
“We want to believe that this terrorist operation by Daesh, has been carried out without the request and assistance of forces inside the country. However, we cannot believe that until all the details are revealed because we have 38 years of experience with a government that has heavy records of crimes, lies and hurting of our people.” (Website of Laleh Park Mothers, June 21, 2017)
At the same time, Ms. Shahin Mahinfar who lost her son in the uprising on December 27, 2009, when he was ran over by the vehicle of the State Security Force, published a post saying that those who killed her son were themselves, the Daesh.
She wrote in her post: “I know Daesh. I have not personally met them, but I know them. Daesh don’t have hearts. They have no honor nor any decency. I know the Daesh. They are killers and take pleasure in killing. They have a God who is different from my God, as much as the distance from Earth to the sky. My God is kind and loves (His people), but the God of Daesh is merciless and an oppressor. I have not met the Daesh but I know them. When they killed you (my son) to earn money and good jobs. I know Daesh.”
