Striking students of the Oil Industries University in Abadan and Ahwaz are being summoned and threatened to the disciplinary committee.
Up until Tuesday, November 28, 2017, some 20 students of Abadan and 30 students of Ahwaz have been summoned to the disciplinary committee for demanding their rights.
Young women and men studying at the Oil Industries University branches have been refraining from attending their classes for 11 days. In Ahwaz, the protesting students lit candles and held a symbolic vigil.
The university’s authorities have not solved the students’ problems but repeatedly ordered to disconnect the internet.
