Political prisoner Golrokh Iraee went into coma on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, the 17th day of her hunger strike demanding to be transferred back to the Evin Prison.
The political prisoner has lost a lot of weight. She had previously went into coma on the fifth day of her dry hunger strike.
Haj Moradi, assistant Prosecutor of Evin Prison, has announced that he would not allow the return of the two resistant women to Evin.
Golrokh Iraee and Atena Daemi were unlawfully transferred to Qarchak Prison from Evin on February 4, 2018, after being beaten by interrogators of the Prosecutor’s Office in Evin as a reprisal for the messages the two imprisoned women sent out in support of the uprising and encouraged them to continue their protests.
