NCRI – June 18, 2013 – The misogynist clerical regime in Iran has deprived the Iranian women and girls from attending Wednesday’s gathering in Tehran’s Azadi (Freedom) stadium to celebrate Iranian national football team’s qualifying to enter 2014 World Cup matches.

The public relations of the Iranian regime’s Football Federation has announced in a statement that: “In this ceremony only men are allowed to be present and the women who like the national team are asked to avoid coming to the Azadi (freedom) Stadium.”

The statement was published on Monday by the state-run Mehr news agency affiliated to the Iranian regime’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security.
