Maryam Shafipour was sentenced to a seven-year prison term by branch 15 of the revolutionary court. Maryam, a student activist was summoned on July 27, 2013 to Evin prison court number 2 and then held in solitary confinement for 67 days.
During visits through prison cabins, she had told her family that she was beaten but fearing that her condition would worsen, they did not inform the public. (Zamaneh Radio- Mar. 3, 2014)
