Iran: Political prisoner Sedigheh Moradi, deliberately being denied medical treatment

Ms. Sedigheh Moradi, a political prisoner currently held in the women’s ward of Evin Prison, is suffering from neck arthritis and extreme bone pains. However, prison authorities are blocking her treatment in a hospital outside prison.

The authorities are especially showing hysteric opposition to prisoners supporting the PMOI. They say very bluntly that these prisoners will not be provided with any medical treatment. Several political prisoners including Amir Heshmat Saran and Mohsen Dogmechi have suffered excruciating pains and were denied treatment until they passed away.
