October 2014 was a new page in the history of repression against women in Iran as the Iranian regime’s cruel misogynist measures of war against women took to another level. The grounds for these crimes were prepared in previous months as news came out of new legalized gender segregation in municipalities, the formation of repressive police to control women’s veiling, the reduction of women’s rights in their private lives and a step-up in executions under the so-called “moderate” Rouhani government.
