Majid Ghomi, head of the Iran MS Association, described the increasing number of MS patients in Iran as concerning.
“According to recent statistics, the number of women suffering from MS is three times that of men,” he added.
MS patients are suffering from psychological and spiritual problems, he said, adding the high cost of medical care adds to their problems.
