Human Rights activist, Narges Mohmmadi’s health has severely deteriorated since prison authorities have refused to provide her with the necessary medication.
Currently Narges Mohammadi is suffering from increased heart rate and elevated blood pressure.
In a note sent from prison, Narges wrote, “I have gone to the clinic 6 times to get my medicine. Despite promises by various officials, they are not giving me all of my medicine. I wrote a letter to the public prosecutor. Judiciary official Nasiri-poor threatened me and said, ‘they are making a lot of noise about you and the judge will issue a severe ruling against you’.”
