Iran: lowering wages has become new method of crackdown against women

A commission in the Iranian regime’s so-called parliament assigned to evaluate a plan to “Protect Virtue and Hijab Privacy” has approved a number of articles.

Based on these articles if women working in administrative offices don’t abide by hijab regulations a portion of their monthly salary will be decreased! A 1 million rial fine (around $30) and ‘ten negative points’ await those women seen driving and considered by state authorities as not abiding by dress-code regulations.
