Shahin Mahinfar, an anti-death-penalty activist who lost her son in the 2009 Iranian uprising when SSF cars ran over protesters, wrote on behalf of all activist mothers.

Ms. Mahinfar declared: “No to executions, no to detentions, no to humiliation and torture!”
