The eyes of Iranian Kurdish political prisoner Zeinab Jalalian are not in good condition, said Ali Jalalian, the prisoner’s father.
Zeinab Jalalian has been imprisoned since 2008. She is not permitted to leave prison for treatment in a hospital.
Mr. Jalalian said the authorities do not agree to grant her a medical leave, nor do they allow her transfer to a hospital outside prison.
The 35-year-old prisoner has been sentenced to life imprisonment and is detained in Khoy prison, in East Azerbaijan Province. Jalalian has been deprived of prison leave throughout her captivity.
