Iran: Raheleh Rahemipoor in Ward 209 of Evin

Iranian human rights activist Raheleh Rahmipour is still held under interrogation in Evin Prison without providing any explanation on the reasons for her detention.

She was arrested earlier this week at her residence by agents of the Intelligence Ministry without showing a legal warrant.

A source close to Ms. Rahemipoor said, “Raheleh Rahemipoor is currently held in ward 209 of Evin Prison. Her family have been told that the Intelligence Ministry is still interrogating her.”

Monday night, September 11, 2017, three intelligence agents entered Mrs. Rahemipoor’s house without providing their warrant.
