A young woman from Marivan, in the Iranian Kurdistan Province, committed suicide on Sunday, January 28, 2018. The woman by the name of Hana set herself on fire and took her own life.
Another young woman by the name of Kajal Kh. committed suicide on Friday, January 26, in one of the villages near Saqqez, also in Kurdistan. It is not clear how this woman committed suicide.
