Atena and Golrokh not well on 3rd day of dry hunger strike

On the tenth day of their hunger strike which has turned dry since three days ago, political prisoners Atena Daemi and Golrokh Iraee are in critical conditions and their lives are in danger.

Monday, February 12, 2018, Mr. Hossein Daemi gave news that his daughter, Atena Daemi, and her fellow inmate, Golrokh Iraee, cannot speak, or walk. “They cannot even sleep for a moment. The Coroner’s Office has issued an urgent action order, but no action has been taken, yet.”

Ensiyeh Daemi, Atena’s sister, wrote in a tweet that she had to write down her sister’s last will on the phone as her sister could not properly talk.

Mr. Daemi said the officials are not responding to his inquiries. He holds the Prosecutor and his assistant accountable if his daughter is harmed in any way.
