IRGC prevents hall rental for Nargess Khoobani’s funeral

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) denied hall rental to the family a woman who died with her two sons in the recent plane crash in Iran on Sunday, February 18, 2018.

Nargess Khoobani was the granddaughter of Mr. Mohammad Taghi Khoobani, one of the leaders of the South Movement, was executed in 1982 by the clerical regime for supporting the opposition People’s Mojahedin of Iran (PMOI/MEK), no one knows of his place of burial, yet.

Ms. Khoobani’s husband, Dr. Hadi Daneshi, is a brain and neuro surgeon and an activist serving the underprivileged regions of Iran. He was denied renting a hall to observe the funeral of his wife.
