Zarrin Taj Meshkini Ghalam (Parivash), a 58-year-old political prisoner, remains without a clear status over a month after her arrest in Evin Prison.
She was apprehended by security forces in May this year and transferred to Ward 209 of Evin Prison under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Intelligence.
Finally, on May 28, 2024, she was relocated to the women’s ward of Evin prison.
Ms. Meshkini Ghalam was detained due to her alleged affiliation with an opposition group. Following her arrest, security officers searched her residence and confiscated some of her personal belongings, including her printer.
