Mullah Mohammad Sadeq Akbari, Director General of the Justice Department of Mazandaran, confirmed the arrest of 120 persons. He said dancing and removing one’s veil is a crime.

The members of this tour committed criminal acts in the Pirajeh Jungle in Neka County. They drank alcoholic drinks; men and women danced together. Women removed their Hijab and other actions against the Sharia law.

“The prosecutors across the province will severely deal and take legal action against those involved in such tours while ignoring moral values!”

The report did not mention the identities of the 120 persons arrested and their place of detention. It is not known how many of them were women.
